PRODUCTS

A Credit Union Exclusive - You pay no monthly or quarterly service charges on credit union accounts.  All share (savings) accounts are insured to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).  Direct Deposit is available for all share (savings) accounts, and share draft (checking)  accounts.

Share/Savings Accounts

Interest is paid daily (from time of deposit until time of withdrawal) and compounded quarterly.  These accounts may be opened with a 50 cent membership fee and a $5.00 deposit.

Share Certificate Accounts

Earn quarterly dividends at a higher rate if held to maturity.  Minimum deposits required (90-day dividend penalty for early withdrawal).

Share Draft/Checking Accounts

No minimum balance is required, but interest is paid daily (from time of deposit until time of withdrawal) on a balance of $250.00 or more, and compounded monthly.  First 50 share drafts (checks) are free.  No monthly service charges.

Instant Cash/Check Cards

Available to eligible members, daily dollar limits will apply with appropriate fees.

To report lost or stolen cash cards or cash/check cards, call 1-800-535-8440.

TRAVEL ADVISORY:  If you are traveling out of the country, your must notify the credit union.  if our debit card security system detects activity from out of the country, and we are not aware of your travels, your card will be deactivated to prevent fraudulent use.  Make certain we have your current contact information on file, including a valid mobile number if you have one.

Christmas Club

The easiest way to save for the holidays.  No minimum, daily dividends.  The funds are transferred to your checking or savings account the first week in October each year.  Withdrawals are not allowed.

Vacation Club

A club account, paying dividends especially designed for your relaxation.  Designed for the get-away vacation you are planning.  Withdrawals may be made twice a year.

"S" Special Account

Designed for the member wishing to save for a special need.  One withdrawal per month only.  Dividends paid daily.

Home Loans  

*    1st Mortgages - DECU has partnered with Central States to offer Mortgage Loans in the event the loan exceeds credit union policies. 

GAP Insurance  

Most cars depreciate by thousands of dollars as soon as they are purchased.  And if your vehicle is stolen, accidentally damaged beyond repair, or otherwise declared a total loss, you will still be liable to pay the difference:  the "gap" between the insurance settlement and your loan balance.  

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) is coverage that pays the difference between your primary insurer's settlement and the loan balance on items directly related to the purchase of the vehicle.  MEMBER'S CHOICE GAP is low-cost coverage for a potentially high cost expense.

E-Statements are Available to all HFS Members!
