Board of Directors Candidates
Rich is a retired Vishay/Dale employee and is a life long supporter and member of the Dale Employees Federal Credit Union.
Rich is currently Vice-Chairman of the DEFCU Board of Directors and has had several offices, including Chairman over the years he has been a member. Rich believes that the credit union should help educate its members in financial matters and provide services that the members need and expect.
Rich has served on many boards in the Columbus community and Peace Lutheran Church. He is currently the Chairman of the Columbus Area United Way Endowment Board, Treasurer of the PCHS Board, and a member of the Loup Power Board of Directors.
I have been back at Vishay in the planning department since August 2019. I had previously worked in the planning department for 11 years. During that time, I was on the Credit Committee from 2013 to 2016 and I learned a lot about the credit union and how it runs during my term.
I attended Central Community College in Columbus and received my Associate’s Degree in Business Administration in 2016. I live Columbus with my fiancé, Michael Landkamer. I have 2 sons and a granddaughter. I enjoy camping, going to car races and playing volleyball and spending time with family and friends.
I have been a member of the credit union for most of my time with Vishay. I believe it’s a great asset to the employees and I am really looking forward to it opening its doors to the community.
Neal is the current Chairman and past Treasurer of the DEFCU Board of Directors & has served on the credit union board since 2002. He believes that Dale Employees Federal Credit Union is a true asset & benefit to the employees and families of the Vishay-Dale network and would like to continue serving the membership by being considered for re-election to the Board of Directors once again. He believes that strengthening the value of the credit union with its members is of great importance to its growth & future security in the banking industry.
Neal currently serves on the Board of Directors for many community organizations in the Columbus area. He and his wife, Shirl, enjoy traveling, as well as camping, hunting, fishing, bike riding, and scuba diving.
Neal began his employment for Vishay-Dale in 1983 until 1989 as an electro-mechanical technician in the Plasma Display area as well as the automation engineering department. Neal returned to Vishay-Dale in 1994 as a Product Marketing Engineer for the Information Display products group. Neal graduated in 1983 with an Associates of Applied Science Degree from Northwest Community College in Electrical Technology and from Midland University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Neal has been a member of DEFCU since 1983.
Credit Committee Candidates
Keith has been with Vishay-Dale since June 2, 1980, and became a member of the Dale Employees Federal Credit Union at the same time. He has just changed positions to an MES Engineer for the Global IT Manufacturing Application Services with Vishay.
Keith and his wife, Sue, live in Columbus and has enjoyed their stay in Columbus over the years.
Keith’s hobbies include woodworking, gardening, and riding his motorcycle.
Robin has been employed by Vishay since August of 1984 and became a member shortly after. She currently is an executive administrative assistant at Plant 6. Robin received her Associate’s degree in Business from Central Community College.
Robin and her husband Chuck, who is also a long-time member of the credit union, live in Columbus. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, with another on the way.
